Ame72 is a modern day Graffiti, Street & Pop artist with a background in graphic design, innovation and technology.
Having painted graffiti and street art since 1985, Ame has developed a style which is a creative mix of Urban, Contemporary and Pop Art.
Ame72 (pronounced Aim) is his 'street' name, the 3 middle letters of his first name followed by the year he was born, it's an old skool graffiti thing.
Ame is most humbled to have been given the opportunity to exhibit artworks in renowned Museums, Galleries, Art Fairs and Auctions around the world, alongside world renowned artists such as Warhol, Hirst, Banksy and even Picasso and been featured in numerous publications, including the iconic books, 'Untitled Street Art' and 'The Cult Of Lego'.
He is inspired by emotion and reaction, to create art which releases an emotional response and then for the viewer to react to it.
“Making art has it’s highs and lows, frustration and elation, but above all it’s the euphoria of creating something from nothing into something I can look at which makes me feel alive”.
